A lot of you have been asking for some surfing pictures of our area in the Wild Coast as the banks have not been this good in 7 / 8 years… The surf has been epic!
So as a very inexperienced surf photographer I tried to take some pictures of the guys surfing recently but seriously, I missed the BEST days as I was busy planning our wedding at the lodge (coming up on our next blog)!
I know it is the same old story… ahhh, you missed the best waves we had barrel after barrel, this indeed is a true story and I do apologise for this guys but here are some pictures that hopefully show a little of what has been going on in the Transkei!….
I must also mention, Kai Hall who you will see in these pictures in 7 years old. He jumped off the rocks and paddled out with no help from Dad (who was shouting from the hill to wait!) My nerves! Anyway, Kai proceeded to catch wave after wave and we all agreed he must be the youngest person to ever paddle out and surf this intimidating Transkei Point… Surf spots not to be named of course!
